I started watching AI fantasy videos on YouTube. They are so intricate and sharp, but the people are often too beautiful, and sometimes lack soul. They all look alike. Also, I half-expect their smiling faces to suddenly turn into demonic rage, like the angels in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Also, they have warped defects, like light poles that bend, or jerky movements. Not quite ready for primetime yet.

I was watching something the other day and wondered if it was AI, but then figured they used a drone because the bricks in the sidewalk were uneven and weathered.

But if AI could get the weathering and atmospherics right, and imitate imperfections, bad lighting, bad focus, lens flares, I might not be able to tell the difference. Scary.
