@janesanders Looks amazing, there's no denying to that. However, this creation is soon going to take away jobs of many. I don't find that part amazing. Being an IT professional, I am saying that.

Most Tech Giants say that AI evolution needs to stop but none are stopping it for real. These machine learning algorithms are 10000 times faster than us humans and every sector across the globe would be affected by this technology in the near future. In a way, AI machines would over-power humans soon if this evolution is not stopped. To hell with Google, Metaverse and X!

I may sound like, I got carried away but the future is full of disasters with this technology. Agree or disagree, it's completely up to you. Please do not compare this evolution with the analog age machines Vs computer in 70's & 80's. This is worse than what happened then.

@SoLeRiMix I seem to recall how everyone said that the advent of the home computers and affordable minicomputers meant there would be massive job losses as computers replaced humans and “microchips” were automating everything.

You don’t hear much about that, these days.

So, the ones protesting should go back home, cook popcorn, watch TV and not worry about losing jobs. Right? Tell the same to Godfather of AI Dr Hinton who resigned as he was concerned about the speed at which AI is evolving.

@SoLeRiMix You said that you are an IT Professional. Your job only came into existence because of computers. Remember, these were the computers that were supposed to be destroying jobs. You need to decide which horse you're riding...

@Glossy Yes! I am an IT Professional, Ma'am. However, that doesn't kill the human in me.

The rapid Evolution of AI is a genuine concern for folks like me too. When we'll automate every business process, why would humans be needed for any job? ML algorithms are so good that they can end-up creating another machine. So, this evil must be stopped. Right now, we are just talking about the constructive side of this technology. Think of the damage humans would face if someone messes-up the algorithm and uses the bots for his/her evil intentions. Already the world is getting closer to the boiling point.

@Glossy Thank you for proving, you don't understand the facts. Even if they come from folks infinity times better in terms of knowledge than you. You can't make a person see the path ahead if he/she is unwilling to remove the blindfold.

My points are valid based on facts. You wish to ignore the reality. Be my guest! Until you're a victim, as mentioned earlier. Godfather of AI resigned expressing his concerns about AI evolution. You aren't ready to accept that fact. Nothing more to say!

I understand why the folks better than me failed to succeed when they debated with you. Simply because you can't debate with someone who ignores every fact. So, they decided to the let the individual continue to live with delusion. Brilliant people don't waste their energy in unproductive work.
