New Feed Section

Hey everyone,

I'm wanna see if we're able to have an unfiltered chronological feed again (as we could a number of years ago).

How many posts can you see from the last hour on the NEW section?

Everything's listed chronologically for me there, but that doesn't mean everything's showing up.

Cheers.

I don't bother with the so called New button. It's only within certain vague tolerances, which they refuse to explain.

If a user posts more than a few times, within a few minutes, the rest won't show up, until you have read the first.

Use the Forums if you want new posts. That's where the new posts are.

They really don't even like the Forums either. And if it wasn't because of Google's search bots, they wouldn't even have that.

Google forced this Hierarchy, because bots NEED a hierarchy, to even search.

They only show users in the feeds that are "similar" to you within certain tolerances. Hence why you'll never see a full list of new posts.

That IS this sites philosophy. "Similar" worlds!

Not "Different worlds", which is what it should be. No two people are alike.

They go down the similar route within certain tolerances, when cultural differences from different countries would never have a chance to show up.

Wouldn't I have to have a page open for each section, for this to work?

@FCNantes Just look at each forum one at a time. And I usually don't even bother with Spiritually and Religion Forum.

The People and Family forum usually have the most posts. Each forum can act like a feed when you refresh the page.

You actually can't even post to the forums either. It acts like a feed.

Posts will show up even chronologically. Mutes won't work on the forums either. Blocks do though.

Plus there's only 14 Forums. Some you might not even want to see. Or perhaps you do. Then do it by your favorite forums first.

Any single Forum is a whole lot better than seeing algorithm old posts.
