how come you can hardly ever get through to an actual person now when you have to phone places
a lot of places now you phone, it's all automation, press 1 for this option, press 2 for another option, press 3 etc...then when you press a number, the automated voice again says ' press 1 to go to another menu or press 2 for this etc'...and often the conclusion is you don't get through to a real human being, it just instructs you that you can find all the info you need if you go online or to their website.
this makes me really angry all these changes that are happening in our times, it's becoming all 'faceless' and automated, you don't get to speak with a real person anymore, because they've made it so the AI or automation does everything so they ' real people' don't have to answer to anybody, and that makes me really angry.
in the rare times i have eventually got through to someone, i'm that annoyed that i've had to go through all of that automated process to try and get my query answered or something resolved, that i'm verging on losing my temper with the actual agent i eventually got through to?
