Why do people like boobs and butts?
FeetAreFantastic · 41-45, M
@BohoBabe Boobs does make more sense. They signify fertility which is of course advantageous giving the evolutionary purpose of sex being procreation. Butts is a little stranger but can maybe be explained by them resembling boobs a little bit. And also maybe wider hips on women, which also signify fertility translating to bigger butts?
But that doesn't explain why some women are also attracted to male butt.
In any case I do think being attracted to boobs and butts makes more sense than Feet. Feet love objectively doesn't make any sense at all.

@FeetAreFantastic There are a lot of theories on why certain body parts are considered sexually appealing, usually having to do with evolutionary biology. Wide hips and big butts are attractive because they're a sign that a woman can bear children. Blue eyes make it easier to tell when a person's pupils are dilated, meaning they like you, and hair darkens as people are, so blonde hair is associated with youth, and that's why blonde hair and blue eyes are considered beautiful.
The problem with all these theories is that what's widely considered attractive has changed a lot from decade to decade. Being fat used to be considered attractive, then it was being skinny, then it was the hourglass shape. Also, what's attractive doesn't usually correspond to health or ability to procreate.
So I don't know, I think it's most likely a combination of genetics, childhood experiences, and the culture. I don't really think beauty can be explained in an objective way.
