Toenail fungus 🤮and Ichthyosis

I don’t know if any of you have had a problem with toenail fungus, but my guy, Gerry, had it bad. He’s been fighting it since before I ever met him. His doctor prescribed a medication for him which was very expensive and not covered by his insurance. So he had to pay for it himself. Not easy on a fixed income which isn’t very generous to start with. So I happened to be browsing the internet one day and saw an article about apple cider vinegar and how good it is for so much that ails us. A lot actually. Good for our hearts if taken in drink form. And good for all kinds of topical ailments. So I decided to try it on Gerry’s toenail fungus 🤮. It’s only been four weeks of soaking his feet for fifteen minutes every night before bed in a mixture of four parts water and one part vinegar, and his toenails already look healthy. I’m thinking that once he’s seen his foot care doctor and is given a clean bill of health, once or twice a week will be enough to keep his feet healthy.

This is what they looked like before the apple cider vinegar.

This is how they look now.

Pretty remarkable. Yes?

Now, . his legs. Ichthyosis. Same deal with them. He’d been using a prescription cream on his legs for years. No improvement at all, then I was given a cream called Dove Intensive Cream. I decided to try it on his legs. It’s got both his legs looking a lot better in just two weeks, and we are happy with that, but I’ve decided to try a warm water and apple cider vinegar compress on his legs each night before bed. And perhaps the cream in the morning.

This is what the ichthyosis looked like before I started using the Dove.

I don’t have any pictures to show what improvement there’s been, but it is pretty good. I’m hoping to see even more improvement after the apple cider vinegar treatment.

So, if you happen to have any topical issues, like eczema or psoriasis or seborrhoea try the apple cider vinegar before spending a lot on pharmaceutical solutions.

My daughter drinks a mixture of one tablespoon of the vinegar in one cup of warm water each morning and her heart doctor says her heart doesn’t sound as if it is straining like it was before. And it’s only been a few weeks for her.

Those look like totally different feet to me - and, I'm sure that the "after" picture is available on Google images... 🤨

@HootyTheNightOwl Oh. They are totally different feet. Neither of them are Gerry’s feet. They are just pictures I found to illustrate what the problem was, and what it’s like now. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
