Which is better, to sleep in velcro rollers with a bonnet on over night, for a wet to dry hair style? Or do valcro rollers first thing in the morning

from wet to dry in the later afternoon. I was thinking that sleeping in them would be very uncomfortable, and my hair would get messy having some of them fall out and getting crunchy, and if I did it first thing in the morning they will stay in place while drying, and I could take them out in the afternoon when dry.

I cannot curl my hair with a curling iron and then velcro rollers from hot to cold, my hair won't hold that style, it has to be a wet to dry style with the velcro rollers instead...
