I don't think I've ever posted my cultural clothing but given the fact it's my first Desi-Arab mixed wedding in an Arab country, today's that day

(Ps this is desi attire for anyone who doesn't know the difference between Desi and Arab culture)

(Additional PS: yes I have low expectations from you guys. Deal with it)

Anyway, that zaghrouta (tongue ululation) thing arabs do at weddings is fun. I wanna claim it and take it back home with me but I'm not white enough for that yet

Side note: Merry Christmas to everyone celebrating. Get merry n shit馃挋

You look pretty. This is very cool. The henna is a good touch.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether the henna was courtesy of one of the few Indian women I met at the mendhi party馃槉
@NickiHijab That's nice haha
I have heard my aunts from my dad's side doing a zaghrouta on several occasions.
NickiHijabF
@PiecingBabyFaceTogether first time I've heard and participated in it in person. It's fun. Does it differ slightly in different countries?

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether by the way, I've been having awkward conversations with the drivers here because idk how to say anything beyond hi, how are you and thank you. I also know household objects and numbers but idk how much more I can try to force that into a conversation. So I'm gonna need you on standby for the rest of the week
@NickiHijab Tbh till this day I thought it was an Egyptian thing lol I had no idea it exists outside of Egypt. I didn't know other Arabs know about it.

Lol sure at your service 馃槍 message me anytime you feel you are in trouble haha

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether it's definitely a Middle Eastern and African thing so I'm gonna assume it has its variations
