What is wrong with polyamory? [I Support Polyamory]

Just finished an argument with another user saying our kids need to be taken from us solely because we're polyamorous. Their only argument, it's a sin. Couldn't even explain how or why it's a sin.

So I ask what is wrong with expressing love for more than one person openly? What's wrong with raising kids in a home with more than two loving parents?

What specifically is so wrong with raising a polyamorous family? Please give me arguments that can't apply to monogamous parents.

Yeah polyamorous relationships are likely to break down because of interpersonal conflicts - oh wait loads of couples get divorced

It will show the children that love is given freely to people who earn it without the need for a contract - oh wait that's a good thing.

Shit I'm really struggling...

There's... More... Support available? More money as there are more people in the household earning?! No wait these are all good things?!!!

@CheshireCatalyst more people in a relationship would probably mean more power to call people out on their bullshit and restore balance. I certainly wish I'd had back up at time in my past.

@KuroNeko I guess the argument is that if multiple abusers are in a relationship it's worse... But one abuser is already bad.

Like you say, adding more people means a higher chance of someone escaping from abuse with support, or the abuser listening to reason from multiple people and having an opportunity to change.

@CheshireCatalyst as with any relationship it's only going to work out with emotional health and self awareness. It could get nasty otherwise. I'd love to try.

@KuroNeko Emotional health and social awareness - agreed, thoroughly saturated with constant open and honest communication amongst all parties involved. Being so open with those whom you love breaks so much unnecessary tension down.
