I remember now why my mouth is asymmetrical.

Years ago I had a root canal and crown and got several shots. I remember I had a lot of pain afterwards and my mouth looked crooked, like I had had a stroke or Bells Palsy. After a week, it pretty much went back to normal almost and life went on and I honestly forgot about it. But I remember a comment that a friend said last year-he was asking what was wrong with my mouth. We were drinking and he quickly changed the subject and I forgot about the conversation until I recently took a selfie. Normally I am always smiling in pictures, but this time I wasn’t and I saw how crooked my mouth looked and I had never noticed it. I started googling about Bell’s palsy and all of a sudden I randomly remembered that root canal years ago and I realized I have some kind of nerve damage in my mouth that is making my lips asymmetrical. Now I’m super self conscious about it.

Had something similar due to TMJ/TMD it seems to come and go during flare ups.
