@JustGoneNow Great story. My ex-girlfriend came out when she was 21. I was one of the first people she told. I mentioned I wanted her to be happy and comfortable for who she is. Today, she's one of my closest friends.

@Barefooter25 that’s awesome. I’m in your same age category and came out to my parents with my girlfriend at the time when I was 22. So very similar.

@JustGoneNow At the beginning, I don't think her family was as accepting as I was. Today, they are.

@Barefooter25 mine were pretty cool, actually… but it was terrifying because I was scared I would lose them.
