I Find Intelligence Extremely Attractive

I admire it so much and that's probably why I don't believe in "love at first sight", nor have I experienced it. I consider it a huge compliment to be told that I'm intelligent, smart, or wise. I feel truly validated when someone tells me so, even more than when someone compliments my physical appearance.

Love at first sight is definitely overrated, but the sad thing is I don't think people even my age replace it with the right things. People will get married and make a life together just because of sex, appearance, and chemistry. Then they wonder why the marriage completely fails when those things morph over time.

It's a sick sad world.
