Funny you should mention "manly hands." I think part of it is the hand should be at least normal sized. I think when a big man has hands the same size as a small woman, it's not very manly. I have this photo of two people with roughly equal sized hands to illustrate my point:
My wife adores my hands, so that's my main fan right there. She describes them as manly / artistic. I don't know what that means but they aren't big sausage finger type hands like someone who wields an axe. Except my bass - give that a slap or two. I do lots of arty things I guess.
Feminine. My fingers are so slender I cannot purchase rings w/o first getting them sized (which is a pain). I can't wear bangles because my wrists are too small and they fall off. Genetics 🤷♀️
