@HijabaDabbaDoo haha it’s going okay l guess, easier than I thought to be honest, I miss going to the mosque in the evening for tahajud and the family time but otherwise it’s good that the sun sets at a reasonable time nowadays, don’t even want to think about summertime when it sets at like 9 PM 🥲

@IamBack For sure. It definitely feels weird without family. I've only spent one Ramadan and Eid without the family and that felt odd. I'd try and make the most of the community around you if you can.
bruh, yess I remember fasting in the summer a few years back. That's genuinely the hardest time ever. I had a new found respect for us then.

@HijabaDabbaDoo to be completely honest with you, sometimes when I call my siblings or friends, I get reminded why I came to the UK in the first place, it’s a battle on different levels… not sure if it’s lame for a 33 year-old to say this but I just wish my mama was here that’s all 🥲

Sometimes I find some guys doing Dawa in the city center, I’m sure I will see them again sometime in Ramadan and ask them where’s the nearest mosque coz Google is giving me weird results

Oh I remember a couple Ramadans in the summer back in 2014 through 2018 maybe? That was tough but I remember the latest we used to have was 7:50 PM or something
