@SW-User Wouldn't it be exactly the opposite, with whoever faced such abuse shying away from that kind of people? Anyhow, I'm no expert on the subject, I just know what I like :P

@Helloelio That’s possible too. However in lots of cases victims of abuse feel attachment and attraction to their abusers or people of similar characteristics due to crushed self esteem.
