I Love Being Barefoot

I kissed the ground I walked on! Tenfold with each step! 👣

Yesterday was the first day in months I just took off my shoes and walked around barefooted outside.
Oh my...it was a delight.
I told my husband that...I didn't know why but I felt so happy, free and alert just walking around the yard barefooted.
So, I goggled the benefits of going barefooted.
I was surprised at all the goodness that could come of my feet being free!
Research found that "grounding" benefitted
Skin conductivity
Moderated heart rate variability
Improved glucose
Reduced stress
Boosted immunity
Better balance
Brought body awareness

Today is going to be in the 70s, so.. another day of reconnecting my body, soul and mind with Mother Nature.

When I was young (and still to this day) I never wanted to wear shoes because I found it easier and more comfortable to be barefoot. Seems there is more to it than my early thoughts.
