I Go Barefoot In Public

So imagine you are at the shopping centre (mall) and you spot a barefoot mummy with her daughter and two sons in tow all barefoot and carefree, like they don’t even seem to know that are barefoot. What’s your reaction?

My reaction is she’s very irresponsible considering all the possible crap they could step on and that I should probably report her for being neglectful.

@LyricalOne Why would you though. If anything you should be reported for cramming children’s growing and developing feet into often unnecessary shoes.

@SandraB Because they could step on any number of things which could cause them to require medical attention. You’re not walking on some pure sand beach lady, you’re walking where all sorts of crap is on the ground.

@LyricalOne It’s hard to describe but when walking barefoot you just instinctively become more aware of where you step. In my years I’ve had nil accidents

@SandraB I have absolutely nothing against walking barefoot. But like with anything else, common sense is necessary. Like with walking through a mall with people who’ve been doing who knows what and stepping who knows where.
