I Went Barefoot To School

@SandraB When I did cross country at school, bare feet would have been too dangerous lol. Did you do other PE in bare feet?

Not one of my favourite parts of PE, gym work lol. Did you enjoy barefoot PE? I know I did.

@SandraB That was the same for us too. But sometimes the course got so muddy that we were given the option of running without trainers. I probably preferred that to having to carry around very muddy footwear for the rest of the day.

@QuietSophie That definitely seems sensible, we could do that too our teachers rule was if you didn’t bring an item of kit go without. They didn’t check so if I wanted I could have “forgot” trainers all the time.

@SandraB Most of our other PE lessons were done in bare feet, so I disliked the idea of ruining my trainers on the 2 or 3 times we did cross country in a season. Btw, gymnastics was my favourite lesson too 🙂

@QuietSophie Great thoughts wish I did that all the time. All our other PE was done in bare feet too. Gymnastics, drama and dance I loved them 😍

@SandraB I loved those lessons too 😌 Drama we could do in our socks, but I took mine off anyway because I didn't dare go back home with grubby white socks!!!

🤗 I was once an Oompah-Loompah in a musical production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We were all barefoot for that performance 🙂

@QuietSophie 😂 sorry seems funny. I played a concerned wife once 😂 was barefoot and I did a lot of backstage stuff and we had to wear black socks or go barefoot

@Adec757 Drama, like dance, is sometimes done in bare feet so you can have more of a sense of your surroundings and move freely without looking downwards!
