I Have Bare Feet
Is it more common for girls to have chosen bare feet for gymnastics / indoor p.e. than boys?

I suppose that it would have more likely for girls to have chosen bare feet for gym/indoor PE when I was in school, though I would have to say that as I recall boys more than held their own in foregoing shoes and socks, I was most definitely among them.
