I Go Barefoot to the Store

I shop barefoot all the time. It’s very comfortable to walk through a store without shoes on. The floor always feels cool under my bare feet.

Does anyone from the stores ever complain?
SW-User
@Miked43 It happens much less frequently than you’d think. I’ve been barefoot in public for most of the summer and I’ve only been spoken to twice: once in a bookstore and another time at a grocery store.

A bookstore? Really?
SW-User
Yes, a Barnes & Noble. It was in a mall, I’d just popped in to look around, and some guy asked me to step out.

So strange. Wifey works in a small bookstore, and NEVER has shoes on in there.

I have been spoken to every time I walk around shoeless in a Barnes and Noble. I’m not sure what their hang up is.

She’s allowed to work barefoot?

@SW-User yup
SW-User
@Miked43 Lucky. I’d love a professional job where I don’t have to wear shoes.

Tell me about it!! Many times customers have tickled her feet!
SW-User
@Miked43 Really? Isn’t that harassment?
Miked43 · 51-55, M
@SW-User nah
SW-User
@Miked43 Doesn’t she have a problem with being tickled by customers?
Miked43 · 51-55, M
@SW-User she’s super sis back
SW-User
@Miked43 What do you mean?
Miked43 · 51-55, M
Mis type...laid back
SW-User
@Miked43 Ah. Still a bit strange to be tickled by strangers, but whatever.
