My daughter certainly does, 18 years old and I still haven’t learned “Katie hates shoes!” A typical day in the supermarket....
Me: Katie? Where are your shoes? Katie: Shoes? What you mean mum? Me: Katie, we are in the middle of Asda and you have no shoes on! What will people think? Katie: I don’t care! My feet are bare and I love that.
I see it's quite a while since you posted. Dose your daughter still go Barefoot. My Daughter's are like your's started going Barefoot all the time has not warn shoes in 5 years. My then 15 year old daughter started going barefoot said she hate shoe when ask why she dosn't wear shoes to school asked what others at school though and said dosnt bother me im happy when barefoot. My 6 year old when noticed her sister was barefoot when got in car after picking up from school said "why are your feet black" older siter said "I like going barefoot and i don't wear shoes anymore"
We had lots of question from our 6 year old "can I go barefoot tomorrow" Me"no" Daughter"why not she goes barefoot" Every morning she tried to leave with out shoes but I got her to wear shoes to school. One day she came out barefoot no shoes when i said" where are your shoes" Daughter " dont know" she did admit that she asked her sister who told her to put her shoes in bin. After we had paid for 4 pairs of shoe and for her to lose 4 pairs of shoes. After that i gave up trying as could see she's happy Both my daughters go barefoot she is 11 and older daughter is 20 know never wear shoes anymore
I know it's been several months, but ...... Good for her! Who cares what others think. I go barefoot to the grocery store, and lots of other places all the time. Sure, some people look at me (mostly my feet) funny, but I don't really care! Keep 'em BARE!
