My girlfriend hides her belly on social media.
So my girlfriend isn't some influencer or anything, even though ive always told her she needs to be a plus size model. But she regularly posts pictures of herself and us. She had a few "tricks" that help all her old friends and family believe that shes still skinny and in shape.
First, of course, she sucks in her belly. She'll always joke and say, "Hold on let me suck in my gut!" Before I take her picture. Second I call "prom pose" where im standing behind her with my hands around her waist. Perfectly positioned to hide he lower belly bulge. And third, which we figured out from doing the prom pose is grab her obliques/ love handles and pull back while see sucks in which makes her waist look smaller and her tummy look skinny.
We were visiting sister and she joked, "Oh my god sis look at that belly, has someone gained a little holiday weight?"
My girlfriend replied, "What are you talking about? I've awalys had this little belly!"
Her sister said, "I guess, you just always look so skinny on instagram."
My girlfriend said, "Well duh, its insta. Dont act like you're not sucking in your gut in your pictures!"
She also gets positive feedback from her photos. One of her friends commented something along the lines of "skinny minny" on a picture of her with her tummy showing and my girlfriend says, "she doesn't know that thats me sucking in AND i had an empty tummy! Haha!"
