Tips for Good Communication With Feeder

I have realized over time how hard communicating can be, how easy it can be to overstep and dominate a conversation. To not listen or be listened to. I feel like this especially happens a lot in feederism
SO I thought I'd ask, what are some tools you all have found to improve communication with your feeder (and/or feedee)? :)
