I think it is the largest vertical rise of any mountains in the lower 48. Not the tallest mountains, just the largest rise from valley to peak.
I was inspired to post this after my little joke in one of my conversations with you about the Big Titty Mountains. I think it reminded some French explorer of teets on a sow.
