Sex is weird to me

I'm definitely on the ace spectrum, not really sex-repulsed, but I wonder why it's considered such a big deal in society, and I rarely ever actually crave intercourse. I do crave intimacy often and am able to get horny and all, but I don't really wish for actual sex, so I guess the most fitting label for me would be gray-asexual. Kinda want to connect to more people on the spectrum.
