Some people just don't get asexuality.

I find that every so often I'll come across people that kind of misuse the definition of asexuality to attack people. All asexuality is, is that we typically don’t want to pursue sexual relationships with other people but it's also an umbrella like demisexuality, which falls under the asexual umbrella because they can "only" experience attraction if it's a deep connection.

There are 37 types of attraction out there, asexual people can still have kinks and fetishes but also, not all fetishes are sexual. Asexual people might still masturbate or have sex. Sexuality doesn’t always mean someone doesn’t enjoy sex. It just means they don’t experience sexual attraction.

Asexuals can experience bits of those attractions while some others don't experience any type of attraction what so ever.

Thank you for this. I personally find it difficult to understand but this explanation helps. I'm not the type that attacks anyone or purposely misuses terms to insult others though either.
