Maybe you should take a vacation to somewhere warm that has lots of hiking trails so that you can keep hiking nude :)

@justanothername that sounds wonderful
justanothername · 51-55, M
@AnnSteve The whole of the southern hemisphere has just hit summer and off all the countries you could pick to hike in, New Zealand is the only one that doesn’t have any venomous beasts in it that could attack you if you accidentally stood on one.
Australia has crocodiles, poisonous spiders and snakes.
South Africa just has wildlife in general that could eat you and South America probably has a few dangerous wild animals as well.

It’s also pushing 30c in just about every part of Australia right now with temps expected to go past 40c as we get closer to Christmas.

@justanothername all sound wonderful.whats 30c in us terms?
justanothername · 51-55, M
@AnnSteve 90F You can have dry or 100 % humidity depending on which part of the country you go to
AnnSteve · C
@justanothername wow, nice and hot
justanothername · 51-55, M
@AnnSteve it gets hotter
AnnSteve · C
@justanothername i can handle hot
justanothername · 51-55, M
@AnnSteve as long as you can handle temps between 35-45c with high humidity you should be fine.
AnnSteve · C
@justanothername i dont undetstand c temps
justanothername · 51-55, M
@AnnSteve 35c is 95F
45c is 113F

Sydney (NSW) and Melbourne (VIC) can both hit 50 c when the northerlies come out of the interior. (122F)

Brisbane can hit 100F and stay there after Christmas.

@justanothername perect to be nude

@AnnSteve I’d recommend a trip to Queensland and work your way up the coast from Brisbane all the way up to Cairns. The whole state is a tropical paradise and the beaches are nothing short of spectacular with white coral sand and palm trees. There’s also the whitsundays which you can rent a catamaran and sail around.

They are halfway between Rockhampton and Cairns.
AnnSteve · C
@justanothername how long a stay would you recommend to see things
justanothername · 51-55, M
@AnnSteve I’d say 2 weeks MINIMUM.

Australia is about 90% of the size of the USA so most distances between places require you to fly rather than drive.

@AnnSteve Driving up or down the coast is very straight forward. You just get on the pacific coast highway if you are on the east cost and just drive. It’s interstate freeway style driving.
You just have to remember to KEEP LEFT and watch out for Kangaroos if driving on secondary roads or outback roads. Kangaroos can jump in front of your vehicle and crush the bonnet when you collide with them. They make a fucking big mess of your rental vehicle.
AnnSteve · C
@justanothername lol, good to know
justanothername · 51-55, M
@AnnSteve Very important to know because it can be a very common occurrence for a lot of Australian motorists who live outside the main centres.

Kangaroos can bounce along at 25 mph. When they are bouncing along beside the road as you are driving and they suddenly decide to change direction and cross in front of you … BANG CRUNCH! There goes your bonnet and windscreen.
AnnSteve · C
@justanothername well if we travel by car we will be careful
justanothername · 51-55, M
@AnnSteve Good idea.
I’d recommend doing a 3-4 day sailing tour through the whitsundays. You can be naked onboard your boat the whole time.

Then spend the rest of the time checking out the beaches between Cairns and Rochampton.

Also spend a bit of time in the Byron Bay Area.
AnnSteve · C
@justanothername sounds fun. Nudity on beaches ok?
justanothername · 51-55, M
@AnnSteve On a lot of them, yes. Baring in mind that there is about 2000 miles of coastline with deserted beaches when you are in Queensland.
