I hate nude pictures of women on here when

I keep seeing pictures of nude ladies posted on here by SW members. I have to confess that I hate that. I

There is no way she can give consent to to her nude picture shared on a site she does not belong to.

If it not your picture and it is a nude what you are doing is super uncool, even if she is famous.

Any pic anyone posts on the web becomes public domain. Meaning no consent is required for it to be re-posted a trillion times......if that happens.

@MaBalzEsHari i understand it is legal to do it. I just think it is uncool to do it.
@robertsnj I get that..............but if it's not illegal......its gonna happen.

In the US, and other places where a "revenge porn" law may apply, it is illegal to post someone's nude pics without their consent. If you're not the party that posted the pics in the first place, and if you knowingly distributed them, then the laws apply to you as well.

Some celebrities want the public believe that their pics/videos were hacked, and therefore they have no control over it. In reality, if they distributed by legit outfits, it only means one thing: the celeb cut a deal and they're making money off it.

@Northwest eh @MaBalzEsHari is probably right--for most pictures on here probably not hacked and in pubic domain but I just venting because I still see it as uncool even if legal
@Northwest True........."IF".............the pics have never been posted before by the girl. But is SHE posts them..........public domain. Copyright is another issue.
@MaBalzEsHari putting something on the internet does not automatically put it in the public domain. Most content is copyrighted in similar ways as books and analog photos.
@NerdyPotato NOTHING is copyrighted if it is simply posted online. If it is submitted to a porn site that site usually will protect it's sumbissions by copyrighting. But simply posting a selfie to SW or another site yourself is public domain the second it hits the web.
@MaBalzEsHari nope, that's a common misconception. If you make a selfie, you own the copyright and others legally need your permission to post it elsewhere. Violations are hardly ever enforced, but that does not mean everyone is legally entitled to do whatever they want with anything on the internet.

Using all caps, does not make it true.

Image copyright is the legal ownership of an image. Anyone who creates an image holds its copyright, including the exclusive rights to copy or reproduce it. This is automatic: Copyright exists even if the creator never registers their work with a copyright office.

Image copyright exists as soon as an image is created. All types of visual art are subject to copyright.

If the art is a photo of an actual person, then owner needs a "Model Release", detailing the license grant.

Fair use is an exception that allows work protected by copyright to be used without permission in certain cases that are “beneficial to society.”

And superseding all this, of course, is copyright laws.

Not covered in these exceptions is "I'm posting a naked image of my ex, without consent"
@Northwest You need to back to wearing your bump cap...even around the house.

I'm sure this made sense to you. Why not in all caps though? 🤣 On second thought, this is what you may be used to, when facts hurt your brain.
@Northwest It took you an hour and 23 minutes to think of that comeback? ;-) ;-) An hour and 24 minutes ago I was long done with you. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you?

A bump cap is a padded helmet brain injury folks wear. You didn't catch that either.

Looks like you have no life. You actually sat there for 1 hour and 24 minutes, waiting for a response from me.

In the meanwhile, I spent some time working, got some lunch, and when I had some free time, I checked on SW. Get a life.

It looks like you missed this:

Let's see, it's been 4 hours. I did some work, and met up with some friend. I'm sure you're still waiting for a response. Get a lufe 🤣😭
@MaBalzEsHari when you're done insulting @Northwest, do you have any comment on my source proving you're wrong? 😅
