Will California end up as bad as Mexico?

Let me tell you, recruiters are filling up my voice mail to the limit every single day. Employers are still here. Hell Google is adding 20k jobs in Silicon Valley alone. Apple just built their massive new campus and is taking on people. It's a seller's market, good time to find a new job. The main problem around here is NIMBY policies not letting the headcounts grow as fast as companies want - which is why Google and Facebook are building their own employee housing.

As for bankruptcy - we've actually been running surpluses for a while. Going red this year, but nothing life threatening.

@AnneHoney Decades old talking points, still the richest state in the union, and has 2% less debt to GDP than Texas (15.5% in CA, 17.5% in TX, though both pale in comparison to the US Federal government at 106%).

@AnneHoney 6th largest economy in the world. Pays the most, BY FAR, than any other state in Federal tax. It's also a donor state. We get less than what we pay so the Red States can continue sucking at the government teat.
