@AnneHoney I mean, if more people with their money leave, median home price in my neighborhood might dip below 4 mil. That would be nice. Might help with the tent cities.
Let me tell you, recruiters are filling up my voice mail to the limit every single day. Employers are still here. Hell Google is adding 20k jobs in Silicon Valley alone. Apple just built their massive new campus and is taking on people. It's a seller's market, good time to find a new job. The main problem around here is NIMBY policies not letting the headcounts grow as fast as companies want - which is why Google and Facebook are building their own employee housing.
As for bankruptcy - we've actually been running surpluses for a while. Going red this year, but nothing life threatening.
