A straight man

I am a straight man 56 years old borned and raised in Sweden. I have always been attracted to girls but never had any. It has went almost 40 years now, and I am pretty sure that my disability makes it difficult to get a girl. It seems thats girls scan guys like a radar on a cruising ship and the first thing about a guy that attract girls is his body posture. My disability sadly causes my body posture being slightly worser than it was many years ago. When I walk with my walking frame I cant walk with my back straight anymore and after awhile both my back and neck hurts but luckily this hurts vanish after awhile.

I cant train my body as I wish I could and that makes me really sad and really envy in others that have perfect balance and can run 5 miles a day, jump around as a kangaroo etc but luckily I can still lift weighs, riding a tree-wheel bike and use my legs to use the pedals. I have heard that if the age limit is higher than ten years between the girl and the guy then it is way to much and only that simple thing can make it really hard to get a girl younger than myself. But how do I know if a girl is interested in me...how do I know she loves me for real, can girls make false love?

I got my diagnosis 35 years ago and cried really much when I got this info but I still remember what my doc told me and he said...this wont be worser or better but you can do much more than you think. Why did he said this...was it just to cheer me up or did he meant what he said?

If my disability wont get better then its no idea to train my body because it wont help. When I got my diagnosis there was more than my body posture that vanished. My future, my hope for true love and being loved by the opposite gender that can see more within me than just my disability and love me for that guy I am, a miracle has occured if that happens, my hope to get a better body etc.

Many girls also expect guys to take the first step and thats something I have really hard to do. It seems to be really easy for many guys, they seems to be a girl-magnet, but not for me. It seems that something blocks me and paralyze me. The first thinks I get is "that girl already has a guy or she wants a perfect guy and not a disabled guy like me that has to use a walking frame. Many girls have seen me and smiled to me but actually what means that smile?

PS: My english is not perfect and I dont know the differencies between UK english and US english. If there is anything you dont understand or maybe spelled in wrong way, I am happy you correct me in a friendly way.

In this world there are probably millions of people with disabilities that are married or have gf's or bf's. Just strike up a conversation with the idea.... it's just talk. Don't Try to find a Gf.... let it happen. The best matches are seemingly accidental. You don't expect it....... but it happened. A person who falls for you will do that no matter what. Love don't see in you what you think are your drawbacks. it sees ur nature... ur personality.... u as a person. Go with that and stop thinking how you walk is the deciding factor. Just be who you are. You can't hide it... so why try.? Just be you.

@MaBalzEsHari Thanks for your words but it has gone almost 40 years and I have not noticed any love yet.

Hi Mathias.
You did pretty well in your letter, despite a few spelling mistakes, not a big deal.
Can women be piranha's? absolutely. They will come over as honest and sincere, but what is going on in the back of their minds may not be what you think.
For you I think it be very difficult to find a fully functional female as a partner. Have you considered finding someone with physical issues like you have? Someone struggling with the same emotional detachment. It might be a good match.

I wish you luck in your quest.

@JamesBugman Thanks for your kind words. I am a member of two associations with people with all kind of disabilities both known and very rare as mine. But I want to meet a girl even without a disability not only a girl with disability. Please tell me what my spelling mistakes was.

@JamesBugman Thanks for correcting me. There where many errors I did but you learnt from your mistakes as said.

You are not alone. Many people don’t have gf for long time due to various reasons. Sometimes it’s better to be alone then in wrong or abusive relationship.
Just be yourself and available. Stay involved and interact with others whatever way possible. You may find a right person.
Good luck.
Thanks for BA
