Do I just attract them?

I want to be good have a nice GF but all I get is hurt and used. I think I need to just close myself off cause everytime I let my emotions out and in the open the wrong people come and twist it so I end up with them in a way I shouldn't.

Hello there. I'm old and have felt it all. I've told young women in the past who were lesbian to just wait for the right one. Yes, in today's society it's easier said than done. However, I promise you that the right one can be perhaps also the one with which you can built a lasting relationship with. It's that last thing that's important and to aim for.
