I gave ten years to my boo i would l know. I know you want to cling to that romantic bullshit but the harm it does is empirical, replicable, studied, and predictable. The honey moon will end it will get hard with every last person alive and if you arent ready to tough it out with them you arent ready to be with anyone at all. Period. Soulmates are nothing more than a comforting lie and believing that lie will doom you to a lifespan of loneliness. Im just trying to save you from yourself. Until you abandon this comforting lie you will be doomed to short term flings and one night stands.
