First, refine what you are looking for. Looking for a girlfriend is not usually how things begin.
Begin with going places where there are people. Talk with the people you find - men and women.
If you “confidently” approach a woman who doesn’t know you and state you are looking for a girlfriend, you’re almost definitely going to make her uncomfortable, even scare her. Not an approach that works well.
Confidence means that you don’t squirm and stand shyly in a dark corner. It does not mean you come in with guns blazing. Confidence isn’t loud. Arrogance and aggression are loud.
Confident people step politely aside in a crowded room. They have nothing to prove. They know who they are.
