It's a fine balance. You can't act needy with them but you also must give them enough attention to hold their attraction to you.

They don't want a man who is dependent on them for fun. They want to be with a guy who has a good life, that they can join. It isn't necessarily "ignoring" that is the goal...it is showing that you have a good handle on life without needing her. She will want to be around a guy who doesn't "need" her.

Good god how I hate that head game men play. One of the main reasons I gave up dating.
