I love a chat with my Dad!

He is a little frustrated today because he’s been encountering some stupidity in work with some younger colleagues doing the whole generation thing. He says he can’t understand why people seem to think they are better because they are younger. Their inexperience leaves them poorly equipped to deal with certain situations where his experience makes those situations so easily dealt with.

Youth has hubris as part of being young. I'm sure the programmers who thought they were really great at writing most of the "automatic driving" code for Tesla, etc., were young programmers...

I hope the crashes caused by people thinking it could be trusted have given them some perspective regarding driving being more complex than a simple program can replicate.

(Don't even get me started on AI! LOL)

He probably has funny stories of screw ups at his job.
