What could we possibly have in common?
I am old enough to be his mother. I just don't see how it could ever work. Have you ever been confronted with one of these statements because you're with someone younger? So many times in life people make judgments about one another based solely upon the traditions of the sect of society in which they were raised. More times than not their judgments are wrong, simply because they've chosen to base them on incomplete information. Society says it's OK for a much older man to date a much younger woman. Yet when it comes to a much older woman dating a much younger man the double standard is revealed. Love truly transcends all of our societal misinformation. Love does not look at age, appearances, wealth, health, or any of the other ridiculous limitations that humans have put on relationships. Love knows no boundaries. It's not limited by our finite thinking. Love is the pure essence of two souls merging to become one. This is our story of two souls becoming one.
@JammieDodgerHeart I agree with you . Previously men preferred younger women and nowadays situation is getting changed and whenever a change occurs it creates noise .
@SW-User i never understood why people have to make it their business about who you love, we are all human, life is short and we should be who makes us happy not who other people think we should be with

My husband was 16 years my senior but it never made one iota's difference , turns out that y dad was the same difference with my mother, they were never int in anyone else , and a man that i recently met on fb was 18 years younger than his wife, she recently died, with alzeheimers, and he is having a real hard time of it, so I think it is up to the indivuduals.

@Silverwings Absolutely. Always so nice to hear about the people who are in love. All these examples proves the value of true love. When there is love other factors become less important.

I had thing for women older then me. I mean like 30's or maybe till 40. But it doesn't depend on age. It's all about understanding and maturity.

@ABCDEF7 Yes of course. There has been severe resistance from his parents and relatives. It went to a point that his father abused me. And at that point he left is parents and started living with me. He told me that he will never meet or see his parents unless they apologize to me sincerely. You can imagine how much that meant to me. It speaks volumes about his character and the fact that he cares about my respect. We both love each other.
Age is just a number, it doesn't define who we are or who we should love or be attracted to. As long as both people are fine with it then fuck what others think.
@LongHairedCougar That's right way to think about it. You said it absolutely right. Some people just don't want to enjoy their life and gets uncomfortable when others are living well. If we care about them then soon we'll be like them :). It's easier for me to handle the situation as I have grown tougher over the years but I can imagine what my boyfriend is going through. I wish him all the strength in this world and I just love him. Thank you my dear friend :)
@Dan193 Thank you for the heads up :) . I understand what you mean. Often it happens in such age gap relationships . I believe in our love however I'll be cautious about your point.
