My grandfather explained it to me this way, “A man needs to maintain a beautiful woman in his life. It doesn’t matter in what capacity she sits. An acquaintance , a neighbour, a close friend, a lover or a wife. So long as it comes natural and he gratefully maintains the relationship. For a man truly needs a reason to get up and go about his duties every day.”
