Did you know that fucking was first invented in the 1300s?

The earliest attested appearance of the word fuck is 1535 ("Bischops ... may fuck thair fill and be vnmaryit." The verb fuck appears to have been found recently in an English court manuscript from 1310.

So the actual act of fucking started in the early 14th century. I'm guessing the Catholic Church was opposed to fucking. It distracted people from praying to Jesus.

What I find amazing is that a tradition that started in the Middle Ages is still popular today.
