I Am Not An Atheist

The more I talk to atheists the more I realise they live in a dream world, a dream world in which a highly complicated mechanism like a cell put itself together by unguided forces, and then survive in a hostile environment and replicate. Seems totally illogical to me but they lap it up

Same feeling about (many of) the theists, in particular monotheists. In particular those who believe humanity came in existence just 5000 years ago, by inbreeding.

Of course you show you know very little about us which is not surprising as atheism is based on lack of knowledge@Elessar
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Speedyman You too about us, evidently.
Speedyman · 70-79, M
Not at all because I have actually found out about my faith and know what I believe. You obviously know nothing@Elessar
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Speedyman I took myself out of the faith you're so fanatically eager to promulgate as "knowledge". So try another card.
Speedyman · 70-79, M
Well read the parable of the sower again @Elessar
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Speedyman Visit a torture museum, specifically one that has at least an area dedicated to the Inquisition.
Speedyman · 70-79, M
Will you go and visit friends of mine who are busy rescuing children from slavery. Or visit the Wilberforce Museum in Hull which is dedicated to the man who led the abolition of slavery. or visit the torture chambers in Berlin to see what an atheist government in the 20thcentury did @Elessar
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Speedyman I have family friends who operate in Kenya and I donate to them directly. I trust them more than a 2 millennia old organization whose leaders sit on gold.

And Nazis are atheist only in the brain of brainwashed revisionists.
Nice attempt, education has clearly failed you.
Speedyman · 70-79, M
Don’t you ever read any history or do you get it off brainless atheists sites? Hitler was an atheist, a Darwinist. His next target after the Jews was to destroy the church. But you are so blinded by your prejudice you miss that bit. Complete blindness to history! So sad!@Elessar
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Speedyman I study actual history, not revisionists' one. Look at the photo evidence above, don't lecture me, you have nothing to teach.
Speedyman · 70-79, M
For goodness sake I study history too which obviously you don’t. You obviously are taken in by the fact that before he came to power Hitler was keen to establish his credentials with the church as a ‘good Christian’. It was entirely bogus as a former member of the Hitler youth told me years later. Even as early as 1937, he was declaring that 'Christianity was ripe for destruction' (Untergang), and that the churches must therefore yield to the 'primacy of the state', railing against 'the most horrible institution imaginable'@Elessar

@Speedyman As always, creationists fail to acknowledge that there is a natural tension between tyranny and religion, because both seek to control and indoctrinate the same people. Both use the same methods, and will always view each other with the distrust that one parasite always exhibits towards other parasites.

A plague o' both your houses!
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Speedyman Even assuming he wanted control, how does it make his entire party atheist? Most Nazis weren't atheist, neither before nor during his regime, and not even after the defeat. High rank members of the Church itself (try googling Alois Hudal) always supported Nazism, even after its defeat, organising ratlines.
Speedyman · 70-79, M
You are just totally gullible and taken in by what is posted. Some of us have actually read widely. They were atheists @Elessar
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Speedyman Then you clearly didn't study it properly.

Speedyman · 70-79, M
If you have a brain in your head and couldn’t read you would notice it says about the Catholic Church in the Holocaust not about Hitler’s beliefs. Hitler was an atheist. I am not defending the Catholic Church’s role in the Holocaust althoughI know of many valiant people who tried to save Jews. You have course just cast a cynical and everything. You have no knowledge and no understanding of the period. Your opinion is worthless as you have no grasp of history only just book references. Pathetic@Elessar
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Speedyman Telling people who provide you evidence that they're "wrong" without providing counter-evidence is nonsensical at best. Not even teenagers argue like that, lmao
Speedyman · 70-79, M
But you are just plain wrong as far as history is concerned. Some of us happen to know these things and your imbecilic arguments are just have no affect@Elessar
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Speedyman And how comes there are no proves supporting your thesis, if mine is wrong? Speaking of imbecility xD
Speedyman · 70-79, M
Truth is not democratic. Truth is truth whether everyone believes it or no one believes it. God is there with everyone believes in him or no one believes in him.@Elessar
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Speedyman Exactly my point, and truth requires evidence, which unlike you I brought on
Speedyman · 70-79, M
The evidence for God is all around you the design of the whole creation, the fine-tuning, in every cell in your body the incredibly intricate design, but people like you gullibly swallow the propaganda and think that somehow it put itself together. I can look at my car and keep myself and put it self together but I’m not that dumb@Elessar
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Speedyman I'm talking about the evidence of Nazi being Christian, and evidence about some in the Christian hierarchy to have been openly pro-nazi.

Your 'evidence' of God is not evidence, as I explained to you multiple times. It's a weak statement, it can't even exclude any other hypotheses/religions.

If it hasn’t occurred to you I would suggest you read the new Testament. Not all religious people are Christians no matter whether they are bishops archbishops or Pope’s. It was the religious people who crucified Jesus. A Christian is someone who follows Jesus and follows his commands. A person who was a committed Nazi was not a Christian . There were many Christians like Sophie Scholl who were put to death in Germany by the Nazis because they oppose the regime. Perhaps you better read about her instead of your infantile websites@Elessar
