Self Fulfilling Prophecies Don't Count

I'm annoyed at religious people. They cause so many problems then step in pretending to be the savior so they can be like "see I was right all along, and you should beg for forgiveness and let me control every aspect of your life." They bully and biase people into homelessness and all sorts of lifestyles they don't approve of and poison everything they don't like that they have to believe they are better than. My FLDS family is working with human traffickers to ruin my life so they can pretend to be my saviors when all they have to offer is abuse. They can never win me over with empathy or logic, always fear-based nasty dishonest tactics. And I'm tired of people spewing "god bless you" to me instead of giving me real help (like money, like they would to people with this sick hierarchical belief system that they have). I don't want an abuser's "blessings". They made me believe in evil because that's their creation and what they are. Horrible people.

@PolluxT Absolutely. If their beliefs are true, they shouldn't have to force them so hard. And saying no to abuse seems to offend them deeply. They're like incel dudes who can't take no for an answer.

@KamLee exactly and it's like they then wonder why nobody likes Christians it's like well maybe if you didn't spend time on forcing people into your belief and being so persistent on it and maybe let others be who they wanna be then maybe they be fine but instead you go around demonize a lot of groups of people who do mean well.

I am a religious person and I have spent a good part of my life getting homeless people into homes and addicts into treatment. I care about their life and I know that if they continue on the way they are they will soon be dead.

Not that I am religious, yet when you go down that so called "evil" trap you really are affirming the religious beliefs.

The religious actually do believe in the existence of evil.

The religious are one dimensional in their own thinking...

-Evil....... 0 Void....... +Good.

Yet reality really is multidimensional. It's irrational to think in a one dimensional line. And there is no such thing as a negative time dimension.

@hippyjoe1955 There's far more colors in CMYK than RGB which has far more colors than your one dimensional B&W grey scale.

Yes your Evil and Good is like grey scale. That is the extent of your spectrum.

It can expressed on a one dimensional line. The others can not.

@hippyjoe1955 Insults will only get you warnings. And you should know it.

Do you have a valid question to ask, or are you just here to rant?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@MissBarbara it's under atheism. It's more a statement than anything else.
MissBarbara · 61-69
@DeWayfarer A very angry looking statement, which I am sure is unnecessary.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@MissBarbara There is very likely a good reason for the anger. And a atheist isn't likely to suppress it.

Not good to suppress feelings regardless of beliefs.

And that is exactly what this site started out for with EP. To release that anger.

If you don't agree with the subject of that anger, then there is the group mute option. It really does work more like a group block.

Yes, I do have all the Christian groups muted.
I practice what I preach.
