As a Christian it is often entertaining to read atheist fantasies about their meeting with God at the last Judgement.. 🤣

Don't worry atheist you will not need to ask any questions because you will get a huge instant knowledge injection so that you will know everything you need to know as you kneel before God..

@Adstar when they see God they will see Him in all His power and majesty and splendour. The time to get right with Him is now!!
Adstar · 56-60, M
@TheWildEcho Truth!!! They will see Him and know He is the most Awesome Being that they will ever know.. I don't think i can imagine the torment they will feel in their hearts at that moment when they realize just how devastatingly wrong they where about Him.. I don't want to even try to imagine the regret they will be experiencing at that moment..

@Adstar No sweat. Any deity who requires fear from its followers for its own validation is a petulant bully and is not worthy of my attention, much less my discipleship.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@FreakLikeMe God does not need validation.. He knows He is perfect and the only God that can ever exist.. And to fear something that can cause you to be cast into an eternal lake of fire is a Good Thing..

A person who fears the boiled water they use to make a cup of coffee will handle that water with care and avoid getting scolded by spilling that boiling water over themselves.. So yes fear of God is the best policy an unbeliever should adopt.. Because fear is a good motivation to investigate the source of that fear,, GOD,,

Only by investigating God can a person see what is needed to get right with God.. Getting right with God ends up removing all that fear.. People who remain in fear of God have not yet been filled with the knowledge of God.. People who investigate the Word of God discover the Love of God and that Love dispells all fears..

(1 John 4:18-19) " {18} There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. {19} We love him, because he first loved us."

@Adstar God absolutely requires validation. Take away his followers, he ceases to be a god. Like a king who has no subjects, he’s the king of nothing. Or like a general without troops to command. He would be relieved of duty. God is only a god because you believe he is, and you obviously want him to be. To me, God is nothing. He doesn’t even exist to me.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@FreakLikeMe Nope.. God existed forever before He created the universe.. He existed forever alone without the validation of anyone Angel or human.. He was God then and He remains as God forever more even after this universe dies... God is God because He is God not because anyone makes Him God.. And wisdom is with them who acknowledge Him as God and accept His will as truth and Good..

You wish Him not to exist for your own reason / s Not because you know He does not exist.. You wish for Him to not exist because you want to be free to be your own god..

@Adstar And what’s wrong with me being my own god? It doesn’t cost you anything, plus I’m free from the manipulation that you subject yourself to, all so that you can worship a silent, invisible figment of your own imagination.

I used to be a believer. Then one day I asked myself why I believed in God. The answer was, because I was told to believe in God by my parents. I was expected to believe, so I had no choice. That’s not a good enough reason for me. Other people need a god in their lives to have comfort. I don’t. It’s as simple as that.

@FreakLikeMe
@Adstar And what’s wrong with me being my own god? It doesn’t cost you anything, plus I’m free from the manipulation
Because you're not a God and can never be God.. It costs You!! to attempt to follow a path that cannot be followed.. Gods perfect guidance is not manipulation it is a blessing.. And God is the ultimate reality.. I know God exists i require Zero faith in that area of belief..

You are reponsable for your own resonse to the Word of God.. Yes i do get a huge amount of confidence and comfort having God in my life but my believing God has nothing to do with those things..
FreakLikeMe · 56-60, M
@Adstar So let me get this straight. According to your reply:
1) You know God exists
2) You have zero faith

Okay, since you know God exists, that means you won’t be needing a Bible to prove his existence (since the Bible is a book based entirely on faith).

Show me one piece of provable, testable evidence that shows God’s existence. I’ll wait.
1) You know God exist
Correct..
2) You have zero faith
I need no faith in regard to God existing.. I however need to trust God (have Faith in God) in regards to his will and His plans and His actions..
Okay, since you know God exists, that means you won’t be needing a Bible to prove his existence
I am not attempting to prove Gods existence to anyone because i cannot prove Gods existence to anyone..
(since the Bible is a book based entirely on faith).
I disagree.. When it says in the Bible thou shalt not steal then i do not need to have faith that stealing is wrong i know in my own conscience that stealing is wrong.. Again Zero faith is needed on that point.. And there are many other teachings in the Bible where i need Zero faith because i understand them and agree with them as being Good and truth.. Yes there are parts of the Bible where i need faith but as i grew in understanding and belief i found that those areas became reduced..
Show me one piece of provable, testable evidence that shows God’s existence. I’ll wait.
As i said before.. I cannot do that and i am not going to even attempt something i cannot do..
FreakLikeMe · 56-60, M
@Adstar If you cannot prove that God exists then you cannot know that God exists. You must therefore believe that God exists, but that requires faith, which you claim to not have. You’ve read that God exists. You’ve heard that God exists. You may even feel like God exists, but none of that is evidence that God actually exists. I can’t break it down any further than that. Now do you understand?
Adstar · 56-60, M
@FreakLikeMe
@Adstar If you cannot prove that God exists then you cannot know that God exists.
You're wrong on that conclusion.. No one can prove Gods existence to another and no one can prove Gods non-existence to another.. But God Himself can prove His existence to whom so ever He wills when so ever He wills.. So yeah i know God exists without a doubt.. But the proof that i have been given is not transferable to you or anyone else..

So as i said before i need Zero Faith that God exists Just as other people can know the Sun exists because they have seen iot's light and felt it's warmth..

So do you understand that God can prove His existence to one person and withold that proof to another depending on his will???
@Adstar How will you react if you find yourself face to face with Allah, or Shiva, or Buddha, or L. Ron Hubbard?
FreakLikeMe · 56-60, M
@Adstar So “God’s will” is what gets you off the hook from having to explain him to anyone who questions the things of God. 1Corinthians 2:11 should make it convenient enough for you.
