They might "seem" to know The Bible, But they don't study the Bible like serious Christians who are in Bible studies weekly. I think most born again christians love to read the Bible more than any other book, I do! We have a personal relationship with God.

Atheists often take a passage, or some verses, and apply it to their own knowledge instead of understanding it from God's view, from a heavenly view. A person has to be saved by The Holy Spirit to understand it. Satan knows what is coming, he knows the Bible, but he is rebelling against God and using men's ignorance and pride to deceive them. Many are deceived. I am here to warn people to not be ignorant of Satan's schemes. And to trust in Jesus, God in the flesh, who took the worlds sins on his own shoulders, and frees us from all bondage and slavery to sin. He is coming back in our generation, the signs are all here, so don't be deceived into believing a lie! 🙏

@Carazaa yes - "reading the words" and "UNDERSTANDING the words" are vastly different. Years ago I took a short 4-5 remote class series from Moody on "how to read" the Bible. Very helpful. Look for: "however", "but", "therefore", "and", "in the same way", "sandwiched thoughts", repeating thoughts (same words repeated and repeated for emphasis), which version you are reading, etc. Just a few of these easy-to-use helps gave a quick boost to the comprehension level and ease of understanding. Ever since my memory verses when I was 10, and even after > 60 years, it still feels as though I've only scratched the surface. New things pop up with each reading- I'll scratch my head and wonder why I "never saw THAT before".

The Ten Commandments
EXODUS 20
And God spoke all these words:

“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

1- “You shall have no other gods before me.

2 - “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

3- “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

4- “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

5- “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

6- “You shall not murder.

7- “You shall not commit adultery.

8- “You shall not steal.

9- “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

10- “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

@Carazaa You are embarrassing yourself by repeating lies. As I have said before, all you need to do is get a pen and some sheets of blank paper and start reading the fairytale at Exodus chapter 19 through Exodus chapter 34. Chapter 19 jut sets the stage for what follows.

As you read, summarize every few verses in your own words.

It is understood that the Ten Commandments were written on two stone tablets and were called the Ten Commandments. Do you agree with that?

Pay careful attention to what you read and summarize. You will plow through a lot of fluff before Moses gets the stone tablets in Exodus 31:18. Before that, Moses went up and down the mountain like a mountain goat and had a picnic with his buddies and God. He got a lot of building and fashion instructions and assorted rules.

Things pick up in chapter 32:15-16. Moses will go on to break the stone tablets, get his henchmen to kill 3,000 people for exercising freedom of religion.

In Exodus chapter 34 Moses and God have a do-over and make a new set of stone tablets that are clearly identified as the Ten Commandments. Pay attention to verse 34:28 (KJV) = "28 And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments."

That refers to Exodus 34:11-26. All of the Old & New Testament stories are based on one or more of those Ten Commandments.

@Diotrephes You are not correct! I don't care to debate this with you since you have poor knowledge of the Bible. It's like discussing with someone who insist the earth is flat! Have a nice day!
