Not at all. For many, that’s why they’re clear about what they believe—they’ve read the Bible cover to cover, trying to make some sense out of it.

@bijouxbroussard I feel sorry for them
bijouxbroussard · F
@espoir Why ? Because they don’t believe what you do ? That’s rather biased.
espoir · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard no. Because they read the bible as you say and they don't believe in it... lol
bijouxbroussard · F
@espoir Right, so why pity someone for not believing as you do ?
espoir · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard I pity them for reading a book that they don't believe in before they read it, and worse they don't believe in it after they read it...lol, it like dumb and dumber

@espoir I’m not sure you understand. Most people are raised with some type of religious belief. Many believers haven’t fully studied the text of those beliefs. They just accept someone else’s interpretation. It makes sense for someone with doubts to attempt to understand the source. And when it comes to the Bible there are different interpretations. Probably why there are so many denominations, yet all define themselves as "Christians”, right ?

@bijouxbroussard right.
