I Am An Atheist

Even if there was a god, prayers are useless.
Why? Because first of all, the Christian god is said to have a plan which implies that he had already made up his mind about everything that would happen, so why would he change his plan to a random person's liking?
And second of all, because apparently everything comes down to our "free will"; whenever I'd tell Christians that despite all their prayers for me I was still an atheist, they'd tell me it was ultimately my "choice", which pretty much implies that prayers don't do shit.

I think prayer helps people who believe in it , not through any god but through the strength and comfort it gives them . If a man believes then in his life that is his truth. His truth may not be my truth . But i won't question or try to change his truth. Why do people insist on someone proving something to them when in their world what that person thinks is not important? I don't pray but if someone asks me to pray for them i will.
