Dumbo, he picked lobsters because lobsters share common ancestors over a third of a billion years ago. It was to say that social hierarchies are not a social construction of society, rather it is a primal response and has only grown in complexity over time.

That doesn't matter. it doesn't generalize down to humans. Lobsters are irrelevant.

If it was Human nature to be hierarchical why did Human beings write programs like bittorrent that were designed to have no centralized (Hiearchical) server? How were we even able to think in that direction to write code of that nature? Explain Peer to peer culture?

There are other problems with his logic because his basic thesis is that Radical feminist and the left are wrong because the Hierarchy is not a construct of society but rather a primal response based on competence...
this couldn't be more wrong. First of all who is our president? The president of the united states of America doesn't even understand climate change global warming or the basic climate science which is hugely relevant to his job.
He like a mad man denies the overwhelming scientific consensus and calls it a Chinese Conspiracy to make america noncompetitive.
Our President is incompetent. There's more to it. He Trust kim jong un and basically believed him when he talked about getting rid of his nuclear programs in spite of the fact that the north korean regime has a proven track record of lying about this and saying they will stop and then resuming anyways....
He's a bull in the China shop on the world stage and sooner or later some foreign actor is going to figure out how much he plays shit by instinct and create an international catastrophe if we don't get him out of office in time.
Most of the "wealthy" in our society are not there because they are competent either they accumulated their wealth by way of inheritance.
Donald Trump got something like 416 million dollars from his dad? Give ANY idiot that much money and They'll find a way to turn it into a billion. He's not "Wise" or "Smart" the way his brainwashed mongoloid cult of followers think he is.
But lets take another Example, the music industry.
The radio plays what they want you to hear which is how Justin Beiber is a celebrity in spite of lacking any real talent.
Yet artist that are actually good are not found on the radio at all. The Radio stations are largely owned by clearchannel and they're the product of inherited wealth and rich people moving their own shit around...
Your success is largely a product of who you know rather than how competent you are and so on and so on.
the bottom line is that those that are on top of the hierarchy do not deserve to be, they deserve nothing less than armed insurrection.
all these facts PROVE the hierarchy we witness IS in fact a construct of society... If america were truly a meritocracy all of the members of the house of representatives and senate would be Climate scientist-there wouldn't BE anyone else or ANY other profession in the halls of congress and we'd have climate action in a heartbeat.
the rich and powerful are not competent- they are lucky.
