@ABCDEF7 Because I'm as sure as I can be that "god" doesn't exist. The reason I'm so sure is that even those who believe it does and claim to have heaps of evidence to support that belief are unable or unwilling to present it. All they seem to offer are silly insults.

@ABCDEF7 Do you believe in all the other gods and mythical figures or can you provide scientifically verifiable evidence that they don't exist. How about "Russell's Teapot" for example?

Alternatively, can you provide scientifically verifiable evidence that the specific christian god does exist?

The fact that christians repeatedly lie about having evidence of their god gives very strong cause to doubt its existence.

True. Most people are Atheists in respect of all gods other than their own. Some of us just go one god further by treating them all equally.

@rob19 Why I became a Christian was because only the God described in the Bible was capable of creating the universe and all we see it it. All the other gods were not great enough or were lacking the attributes required to create. Kind of like atheism that way. Completely incapable of explaining the origins of all we see and think we see. Only Yahweh as described in the Bible and Christian teachings is capable of creating what we see. Sadly atheists aren't intellectually capable of understanding that so they make up silly stories and wild hypothesis to explain what they can not explain. A finely tuned universe required to support life on earth is statistically impossible of the brain dead atheist simply says there are billions upon billions of universes and we are just the lucky ones. Too Funny!!! Multiply the impossible by infinity leaves you with impossible infinity. It is still impossible and now you have introduced the impossible to confirm because there is no evidence of other universes.

@sputnik Actually she referred to me and my family as Nazis or Nazi sympathizers. My father in law and uncles fought the Nazis in WWII with great distinction. They were all highly decorated for bravery as they went in on D Day first wave or fought in Italy. They fought through Italy France and Belgium and Holland and into Germany liberating several slave farms and one extermination camp. When an idiot like her starts making stupid comments about Nazis after I spent hours listening to my families war stories about what the Nazis did to humanity..... She became blocked and will remain so. Ignorance like hers does not deserve my attention.
