Considering none of them are hiding the fact that they evolved from the other this joke is flawed lol

@Emosaur Well not all pagans were polytheist but sure the Jews had a polytheist system based on a mix of their monotheist system and the Egyptian polytheism. But that's what Moses made sure was clear to them. No God above the one true God.
How do they know? Well Moses said so. Like that was good enough for them I guess. Plus even in a polytheist system there's usually always a heirarchy of gods. Usually at the top is the Sun, Sky or Earth. Some even think beyond that to describe space, time and more as gods too. The Abrahamic God is just one step beyond that.
Judaism, Christianity and Islam have one specific point of difference and that is Jesus's significance. The Jews claim he was just a man, the Christians claim he was God and the Muslims claim he was a prophet. This means that his teachings are held at different degrees of importance to each religion. Still though they all believe in YHWH, getting into Heaven, angels, prophets, sinners, saints, etc.

@Emosaur If you are going to act like Jews, Christians and Muslims are that different then you better just separate the denominations up too. In fact some denominations of Christianity have less in common with other Christians than they do Jews or Muslims.
It should be noted that Moses proved his holiness several times to his people. They didn't just take his word.

@Emosaur Well Jesus's importance isn't a major deciding factor on whether you get into the kingdom of God. Living a good life and accepting God are. All 3 religions do this.
Well Moses wrote the Torah so one would argue the writers were very much there lol now technically Moses can't have written the entire 5 books but whomever did was around when he was.

@Emosaur I doubt you'll find many Muslims who actually feel they should kill people. ISIL are using religion and a hate for the US to fuel their own agenda but most agree they don't represent Islam.
The bible talks about those who don't accept Christ. Obviously there are many Jews and non Jews in the bible so the question of if they can get into the kingdom of God was asked. It says that a man doesn't have to practise every little thing, as long as they are good. God will judge them based on this. The reason people say you should accept God and practise the teachings is purely because that is a way in the religion to be good and get into heaven.
Again we aren't talking about whether the Torah is factual. You asked why anyone believed him. Again the miracles had a lot to do with it. Why does anyone today believe in Moses? Who knows. Maybe they think he was a good guy.

@Emosaur I just went on wiki where it lists a bunch that have legalised it. Most gay laws are based on poor translations of the Torah anyhow. Islam didn't even condemn homosexuality in the pre modern era.
There are however some exceptions that are definitely a no no in all Judeo-Christian religions. Sodomy, rape and paedophilia. These are the real laws people should be enforcing if they are Muslim
