I Am An Atheist

I've come to a conclusion on my stance as an Atheist.

As far as all of the deities and what religion proposes, I've come to the conclusion that those are all false and I do not believe in them.

However, I've also come to the conclusion that there could be a possibility (heavy emphasis on possibility) of something out there.

It could be some form of divinity, it could be something that isn't divine, something beyond our imagination and/or comprehension, anything, however, that remains unknown and more than likely unknowable, which is why I hold my position as an Atheist, because yes, I'm considering the possibility of something out there, but until there's evidence towards even that, I don't firmly believe that there truly IS something out there because I'm not met with solid evidence, and I most likely won't ever know, because the truth to that is more than likely unknowable.

The other reason why I hold my position as an Atheist is because the deities as I've said before that religions propose I do not believe in as there is zero evidence to propose the existence of their deities aside from the fact that religion is VERY subjective, which is why I also think that these deities that religions propose are nonexistent because they don't meet the burden of proof, which is why I have no reason to listen to anyone who's religious.

When it comes to religious people, they always try to counter this type of argument with: "Disprove God!"

First off, the burden of proof isn't on me, it's on whoever is proposing the existence of your god, which is you and everyone else following your religion. Second, the fact that you want/need me to disprove your god is more than enough evidence for me to know that your god doesn't exist and that your religion is subjective in every way possible.

If your religion was telling the truth, you wouldn't need blind faith, you wouldn't need/want someone to disprove your religion and/or your god, you'd already have the necessary proof you need to prove your religion right and to prove that your god actually exists, which to this day, that burden of proof still is unsatisfied, and more importantly, your religion and beliefs wouldn't be so subjective.

The fact that religion and gods are all manmade concepts, the fact so many religions exist, the fact so many different versions of religions that exist, the fact so many denominations of religions that exist, and the fact that so many holy books and different versions of those holy books that exist for each and every religion proves the subjectivity of religion in it's entirety, and is proof enough for me that ALL of those religions are wrong and that NONE of those gods or goddesses exist.

That's why I don't believe in your imaginary friend and why I am an Atheist.

If you want me to believe, you'd better provide me with some ob<x>jectivity, otherwise, I'll be turning a deaf ear and a blind eye to what you have to propose.

Lack of evidence is its own proof.
