No. God was not born. He is Eternal. No beginning and no end.
@hippyjoe1955 I agree with you but how do we know this ?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Albatross He said so.
@hippyjoe1955 But how come he had no beginning ?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Albatross He doesn't need one. Time is a part of creation.
@hippyjoe1955 So God was not created ??
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Albatross Of course not. He is the source of creation not the result of creation.
@hippyjoe1955 I think you are referring to Earth's creation. I'm talking God's creation
chibs · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 the universe didn’t have a beginning
@chibs but in science it did have a beginning, the big bang is one theory of how it began
chibs · 61-69, M
@Albatross In science the Big Bang is when the universe started expanding not when it began
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@chibs What gives you that idea? How long can a star burn?
chibs · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 nothing to do with it. stars formed after expansion. Whatever expanded didn’t have a start
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@chibs So a star's fuel is????
chibs · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 fuel formed with the expansion of the universe. A universe that is eternal with no beginning and no end if your claim about God is correct then that claim can be just as correct
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@chibs Hydrogen is the fuel. It is created in what process?
chibs · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 yes, I just told you that it formed with expansion. The universe already existed and then it expanded.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@chibs So the expansion came from???? What was the process to form hydrogen?
chibs · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 the expansion came from an already existing universe and the heat formed the hydrogen. Remember that the universe is eternal with no beginning and no end but it doesn’t need to be the same
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@chibs Nice fable you got going there. Too bad there is no reason to believe it. So according to you the very dense material for some unknown reason breaks down into hydrogen so the stars can form all over again.
chibs · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 where are you getting very dense material from? "Nice fable you got going there. Too bad there is no reason to believe it.” applies equally to your claims
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@chibs What do you think the stars are doing when they fusing atoms together?
chibs · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 my question was about why you think hydrogen formed from dense material. Where are you getting dense material from?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@chibs If the hydrogen we see today came from a previous universe then the previous universe would have used much of the hydrogen to make denser material. In order for the new universe to have hydrogen the dense material would have to break down over and over and over again in eternity.
chibs · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 what previous universe? the universe is eternal and has no beginning and no end, so how could there be a previous universe? How long is half of eternity? It’s eternity, right?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@chibs You truly haven't thought your theory out. Maybe you should just stop now before you make an even bigger fool of yourself. Even Einstein gave up on the oscillating universe theory.
