This morning I was experimenting with setting for getting a true picture of the sun. Using a special neutral density filter the blocks 99% of light and adjusting settings manually I captured a picture showing sunspots, magnetic storms, and finally granules from hydrogen burning on the surface. I used live view to not damage my eyes but safe for the camera. Lens is a tamaron G2 150-600. Camera is a Nikon D7200. White balance was also adjusted.

That's cool! I like looking at the sun through special glasses; it's like seeing through the mystery of the sun and seeing for yourself it's a burning ball of hydrogen. It's something so far out of my experience, it's almost mysterious to me. Seeing it really brings home it's a real object that we depend on for your lives! An object in space that gives us life.
